Veruzka Scavo is a Venezuelan international model and former beauty queen. She has modeled for recognized model agencies such as Next Model and Future Models.  Likewise, Veruzka participated in diverses international beauty pageant  such as Miss Tourism, Miss Europe, and World Next Top Model. She currently lives in New York, where she recently finished her graduate studies in business.

Veruzka refers to herself as a relaxed, outgoing person who is always passionate about her goals and dreams. She enjoys running, going to the gym, eating healthy, playing tennis, dancing, cooking, photography, and reading.

Tell us something about you. Maybe your life, profession, habit, dream. 

I was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, Where I did my first steps in the modeling industry and did my university studies in Journalism and Mass communications. I moved to New York City in 2016, where besides my modeling career, I earned a college degree in Marketing from Berkeley College New York. Likewise, I recently finished my MBA in Business Management. One of my passions is when it comes to mixing fashion, art, and business.

Could you share how you expand your vision of art, fashion?

 I consider myself a very artistic person. I believe I can transform anything into art. I expand my vision of art and fashion but just looking and analyzing at everything is around me. Sometimes to get some inspiration, it helps going for a walk or taking a trip somewhere. 

Is art, fashion important in your life? Why?

 Yes, it is important because fashion is a way to express yourself and make a statement. Fashion to me means art, and it is an integral part of my personality.  While more art you put into your appearance became more fashionable. Through art, I can find peace and inner strength.

What do you think about your work? Is it what you like, or simply saying a dream?

I have loved and started doing modeling since I was a little girl. It is not easy because it requires a lot of discipline, effort, and sacrifices. Nevertheless, modeling gave me the most fantastic experience and memories. It allowed me to travel to different places around the world and to meet amazing people from all over the world. 

In modern society, lots of people want to be famous, influential. What do you think about it?

There is so much pressure in modern society and social media influence on it. You see just what people want you to see. Today people do not want to be famous for a particular talent; they want to be famous to feel accepted. The most important is knowing who you are and being true to yourself.
